The Fighting Irish are 9-2 this season and ranked 6th in the College Football Playoff rankings. They have won their last five games, including a 45-23 win over then-No. 23 North Carolina on Saturday.

The Buckeyes are 11-1 this season and ranked 14th in the College Football Playoff rankings. They have won nine of their last ten games, including a 44-21 win over then-No. 18 Wisconsin on Saturday. They lost a tough contest to rival Michigan 45-23 in one of the years most anticipated rivalry games.

The game between Notre Dame and Ohio State is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on NBC.
